Lazy Sunday

Another Weekend gone by and I have both girls in bed...  it's 8:30 on Sunday night.   Mills is now 13 months old and she is getting VERY opinionated.  It has been great watching the changes in her over the past few weeks.  She has become vocal about her likes and dislikes, she has started to realize when Giulianna takes toys away from her,  she knows what we are talking about when we are talking to her.  It is amazing how much they take in in their first year.   I can see her personality starting to blossom and how she wants to participate in the family "games".    Today we took the girls to Shelby Park to go to the fountain that is there for kids to play in and run through.  Giulianna thinks it is Shelby's park, who is our babysitter Jordyn's sister,  (well, actually Shelby is a babysitter too, she fills in when Jordyn can't come).  She kept asking "When are we going to Shelby's park?"  Ha!   Giulianna is definitely getting braver this year.  She kept running through the fountain spray, even the strongest ones, which she wouldn't have done last year.   Mills was pretty brave herself...  Matt was capping one of the spouts and directing its spray on Mills, she didn't mind at all.   Just bobbed and weaved her way around the park.  Matt says she walks like Fred Sanford, and lovingly started calling her "Sanford".  We ended the day with Ice Cream.  Giulianna had "Cotton Candy" flavor, it's nice and BLUE.   Everyone else shared an Oreo Cream Filling... Mills ending up eating both,  clutching a spoon in her chubby little hand.  Perfect Ending to a Lazy Sunday.
